I traveled with five friends along the Costa do Dende, staying first in Salvador, and everything felt easy from the start. We loved wandering through Pelourinho, stopping at bars and terraces in Barra hood and Praia do Porto. The whole Barra promenade was always full of locals exercising, which gave the area such a lively and relaxed vibe.
Morro de São Paulo was beautiful and fun, while Boipeba felt peaceful and untouched. In Itacaré we enjoyed the mix of nature and great restaurants, and Ilhéus was the perfect place to slow down before heading home. Special thanks to Mario, our guide, who supported us the whole time.
